Power Adhesives Tecbond 7784 hot melt adhesive is a 12 mm polyamide hot melt adhesive developed for industrial product assembly and bonding metal, wood, glass, ceramics and many plastics. It produces strong, flexible bonds and is designed for applications exposed to both high and low temperatures.

Tecbond 7784 maintains strong and flexible bonds at temperatures as high as 120°C and as low as –60°C. This wide temperature range makes it particularly suitable for product assembly, electrical applications and components used in working machinery.

As a polyamide adhesive, Tecbond 7784 is resistant to most oils, fuels and grease as well as mild chemicals. This makes it suitable for industrial applications where the adhesive joint may be exposed to these substances.

Tecbond 7784 is commonly used in car engines and oil filters. In addition to securing components, it can be used to prevent certain parts from coming into contact with each other, such as separating oil filter fins.

The adhesive has an open time of 30 seconds and an application temperature of 195–215°C. Tecbond 7784 is amber in colour and supplied in a 12 mm format.
