Power Adhesives Tecbond 263 Polypropylene Hot Melt Glue 12 × 300 mm

Power Adhesives Tecbond 263 hot melt adhesive is a high-performance synthetic polymer-based hot melt adhesive for polypropylene (PP). It has been specifically developed for bonding polypropylene components and is suitable for professional product assembly and other PP bonding applications.

Tecbond 263 is supplied as 12 × 300 mm glue sticks. The adhesive provides high molten tack, good heat resistance and low-temperature flexibility down to –20°C. Heat resistance is 105°C, while the ring-and-ball softening point is 150°C.

To maximise bond strength on polypropylene, sufficient adhesive should be applied at 190–200°C, and the surfaces should be brought together as quickly as possible. The manufacturer strongly recommends a good-quality, high-output hot melt glue gun to provide consistent adhesive application and strong bonds.

Tecbond 263 is specifically designed for polypropylene bonding and, according to the manufacturer, is not suitable for bonding other plastics.
