Power Adhesives Spraytec 430-43 spray hot melt adhesive is a synthetic polymer-based 43 mm hot melt adhesive with a very long open time. Designed for professional spray bonding and product assembly, it is suitable for bonding plastics, foams, wood and cardboard.
Once applied, Spraytec 430 provides aggressive tack for up to 6 minutes, giving operators extended time to position and align materials. After this open period, the adhesive sets to form a tough, resilient bond.
In addition to spray application, Spraytec 430 can be applied in bead or dot form. In this form, it works as a long-open-time product assembly adhesive with excellent adhesion to most plastics.
The 43 mm version measures 1¾ × 1¾ in (approximately 43 × 43 mm). The carton quantity is 22 lb (approximately 10 kg), with approximately 8 adhesive pieces per pound.
The suggested application temperature is 350°F (approximately 177°C). Brookfield viscosity is 4000 cP at 350°F, the ring-and-ball softening point is 221°F (approximately 105°C), and heat resistance is 176°F (approximately 80°C). Low-temperature flexibility (Tg) is 7°F (approximately –14°C).
According to the manufacturer, all constituent parts of the adhesive comply with the applicable requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105, subject to the limitations specified in that regulation.
