Description
Specifications
Power Adhesives PEELTEC 210 peelable hot melt adhesive is a synthetic polymer-based 12 mm hot melt glue developed for temporary and removable bonding applications. It provides sufficient strength to hold items during transit and handling while allowing them to be removed with minimal risk of damage to the substrate.
PEELTEC 210 can be used on a wide range of materials, including plastics and different types of paper and board with various print finishes and varnishes. The adhesive is non-staining and is formulated to balance secure attachment with controlled peelability.
The glue sticks measure 11.5 × 200 mm and are designed for use with a compatible 12 mm hot melt glue gun. The suggested application temperature is 195°C, viscosity is 6000 cP, and the ring-and-ball softening point is 150°C.
PEELTEC 210 bond strength continues to increase for approximately 24 hours after application. The bond should therefore be tested at least 24 hours after application to confirm both the required holding strength and suitable release from the substrates.
With lightweight paper, thin PVC and other sensitive materials, application testing is particularly important. Applying a smaller amount of adhesive to the stronger or less sensitive surface can help minimise damage or distortion. Adjusting adhesive quantity allows the balance between bond strength and peel characteristics to be optimised for the application.

Applications & Usage
PEELTEC 210 peelable adhesive is suitable for applications where products or components need to remain securely positioned during packaging, transport, display or handling but must later be removable.
Apply the adhesive with a compatible 12 mm hot melt glue gun, preferably to the stronger and less sensitive substrate. The suggested application temperature is 195°C.
The finished application should be evaluated at least 24 hours after bonding, as bond strength increases during this period. Testing is especially important with lightweight paper, thin PVC and other substrates susceptible to damage or heat distortion.
