Eurovent VSTRONG 4-Layer Breathable Roof Membrane 200 g/m², 75 m²

Eurovent VSTRONG breathable roof membrane is a four-layer, highly vapour-permeable roofing underlay designed to protect insulated and ventilated pitched roofs against moisture, rain and wind. The membrane is also suitable for low-pitch roof constructions and roofs with full boarding or sarking.

Eurovent VSTRONG roof underlay is reinforced with a polypropylene (PP) mesh, providing exceptional tear resistance and helping prevent damage during installation. Its four-layer construction combines mechanical strength, waterproofness and high vapour permeability.

The membrane has an Sd value of approximately 0.02 m and water vapour permeability of approximately 3000 g/m²/24 h. Due to its high vapour permeability, it can be installed directly on thermal insulation without requiring an additional ventilation gap between the membrane and insulation.

Eurovent VSTRONG is suitable beneath a wide range of roof coverings, including clay and concrete roof tiles, metal roofing, aluminium sheets and natural slate.

The membrane has W1 waterproofness classification and a water column resistance of more than 3000 mm H₂O. Its area weight is approximately 200 g/m², with reaction to fire class E and UV resistance of 3 months.

Each roll measures 1.5 × 50 m, providing 75 m² of membrane.

A separate version, Eurovent VSTRONG SYSTEM SK2, is available with two integrated self-adhesive sealing strips.

Thanks to its high vapour permeability, Eurovent VSTRONG can be installed directly on mineral wool, glass wool and other suitable thermal insulation materials. No separate ventilation gap is required between the membrane and insulation.

The final roof covering must always be installed using battens and counter-battens. Roof coverings must not be installed directly onto the membrane.
