Lamello Cabineo M6 threaded insert is an M6 threaded socket for furniture joints, designed for use with Cabineo 8 M6 or Cabineo X. It is particularly suitable for furniture that requires repeated assembly and disassembly while avoiding wear of the threaded connection.

The Cabineo M6 insert is available in two lengths: 12.3 mm and 15.3 mm. Installation requires an 8 mm hole, after which the insert is driven into the material with the dedicated installation tool. Hammer-in installation provides an efficient process and helps keep the insert correctly aligned in the hole.

The installation tool automatically positions the insert 1 mm below the panel surface in its standard configuration. Rotating the plastic sleeve of the installation tool by 180° allows the insert to be installed 5 mm below the panel surface.

For centre panel joints, the threaded insert is positioned in the middle of the panel so that Cabineo M6 screws can engage the same insert from both sides. This provides increased stability for centre panel connections.

Clawed retaining grooves anchor the insert securely in the surrounding material and provide high tensile and shear strength. In addition to the Cabineo system, the insert can also be used with standard M6 threaded screws.
