Eurovent DIFFUBAND SK2 External Window Sealing Tape 70 mm × 25 m, Sd 0.30 m

Eurovent DIFFUBAND SK2 external window sealing tape is a vapour-permeable window and door installation tape designed for sealing external installation joints around windows, doors and window blinds. It is intended for warm window installation systems, where the outer sealing layer must help protect the joint against external moisture while allowing water vapour to escape from the construction.

Eurovent DIFFUBAND SK2 is manufactured from a special polypropylene (PP) nonwoven fabric with acrylic dispersion adhesive. One side of the tape is coated across its entire width with a high-adhesion adhesive layer, allowing secure attachment to wall surfaces or window frames.

An additional 20 mm adhesive strip is integrated on the opposite side to simplify attachment to the window or door frame. This design eliminates the need for separate mounting adhesive.

With an Sd value of approximately 0.30 m, the tape offers good water vapour permeability. It helps protect installation joints against moisture while allowing water vapour to diffuse outwards.

Correctly installed external window and door sealing tape helps reduce air leakage, heat loss and moisture-related damage around building openings. The tape also supports acoustic insulation of the installation joint.

Eurovent DIFFUBAND SK2 meets GEV EMICODE EC1 Plus very low emission requirements. The material has an area weight of 230 g/m², reaction to fire class E and is UV-resistant.
