Power Adhesives Tecbond 5 hot melt glue 12 mm is a specialist EVA woodworking adhesive developed for professional carpentry, joinery and assembly applications. It is designed for bonding both softwoods and hardwoods and is suitable for rapid fixing and temporary bonding applications.

Tecbond 5 is suitable for attaching interior trim, drawer bottoms, templates, cabinet backs and glue blocks. In suitable applications, its fast hot melt bond can reduce the need for mechanical fasteners such as tacks and screws.

Although developed primarily for wood bonding, its high tack and excellent adhesion also allow Tecbond 5 to bond many plastics, ceramics and light-gauge metals.

The adhesive has a 10-second open time and an application temperature range of 130–195°C. Tecbond 5 is pale amber and is available in 12, 15 and 43 mm formats. This product is the 12 mm version supplied in a 5 kg pack.
