Power Adhesives Tecbond 261 High Strength Assembly Glue 12 mm

Power Adhesives Tecbond 261 hot melt glue 12 mm is a strong and versatile EVA assembly adhesive designed for bonding wood, metal, glass, ceramics and many plastics. It is suitable for professional product assembly, construction and general-purpose bonding where high bond strength and sufficient positioning time are required.

Tecbond 261 can also bond polypropylene (PP). Its high bond strength and flexible bond make it suitable for assembling different substrates and applications where small movements between bonded components may occur.

The adhesive has a 30-second open time, providing time for accurate positioning before the substrates are compressed. Once compressed, the adhesive sets quickly. The specified application temperature range is 130–195°C.

Tecbond 261 is pale amber and is available in 12, 15 and 43 mm formats. This product is the 12 mm version.

Applications & Usage

Tecbond 261 assembly adhesive is suitable for product assembly, construction and trade applications, and general-purpose bonding. It can bond wood, metal, glass, ceramics, polypropylene and many other plastics.

The 30-second open time provides time to accurately align components after applying the adhesive. Once the substrates are compressed, the adhesive sets quickly while providing a strong and flexible bond.

The 12 mm hot melt glue sticks are used with a compatible 12 mm hot melt applicator capable of operating within the specified 130–195°C application temperature range.
